P0011 indicates the intake camshaft on Bank 1 is over-advanced relative to the ECM's commanded position. Modern engines use Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to optimize performance and efficiency by adjusting when the intake valves open and close. The VVT system relies on oil pressure to control a hydraulic actuator (cam phaser) on the camshaft. An oil control valve (OCV), also called a VVT solenoid, regulates oil flow to the phaser. When oil level is low, oil is degraded, or oil passages are clogged with sludge, the phaser can't maintain its commanded position and drifts to the over-advanced default. This is why an oil change is often the first and most effective fix. If oil quality is fine, the OCV solenoid itself may be stuck or failing. In more severe cases, a worn or stretched timing chain can cause the camshaft to drift from its intended position.
